Language 1) Write an analysis of the media language choices on the cover of Men's Health - e.g. colour scheme, typography, language, photographic codes etc. the main colour scheme in this men's health magazine is blue, black and white. This colours are often associated to quite masculine characteristics of media texts  the typography is very heavy and capitalised that,again,  reinforce traditional masculine stereotypes of strength and  power  the language used is quite informal and uses many '!' so generate emphasis and entice the audience into what is inside the magazine. 1) Save your finished Photoshop magazine cover as a  JPEG image  and upload it to your evaluation blogpost. 2) Write an  evaluation  of your work: have you succeeded in your brief to create a new, original edition of an existing magazine? in my opinion i think i successfully created a new, original edition of an existing empire  magazine as i used conventions of a traditional magazine and used new and unique style of images in terms of models and the use of animals. 3) Put your cover alongside a couple of genuine covers of your chosen magazine. Planning 1) Plan your main flash - this is the main cover story that links to your central image. my magazine is a film magazine so im going to create a film concept photo for my central image.  i want to use the James bond universe in my magazine but i want to create different representations so im going to use a complete female model set. i would also like to incorporate animals into my final image    2) Plan the image you will need for the cover - model, costume, make-up, lighting etc. At this point, simply describe the image you need to capture. model- 3 females (replicate charlies angels )and 2 dogs costume- Black, white and red with smart/urban clothes-- almost femme fatal  makeup- bold and strong - i dont want a heavy eye look so i think im going to focus on the lips  lighting - due to the fact i want to create an urban yet chic look and also because its a film magazine im going to look for a gritty and grunge setting to contrast ...
